We all have a past. Sometimes we carry so much of it with us into the future, we don't know how to enjoy what we currently have or how to change what makes us, us.
Much like taking our past with us, we take habits we have been taught or picked up along the way and after a while some of these no longer serve us.
Once the habits that don't work for the life you want are removed, you will find ones that work for the life you are trying to build and how to use them.
Being able to take care of others is something a lot of us do without thinking. Taking care of ourselves is another story. Learning that "we have to put the mask on ourselves first" can be the hardest lesson learned.
Sharing with others who are like minded or have shared experiences builds a community and the feeling that we aren't in this alone. Our weekly chats help with that.
Even after learning new behaviors and skills and feeling confident using them, old ones can creep back in without us realizing it. Having the tools to get the ones that serve us best back in the rotation and keeping them there, will get you one step closer to the Tomorrow Me you have dreamt of.
